Quinta do Ferro is located in a unique area in the world: the Vinho Verde region. Combining technology with human capacity the producer Quinta do Ferro provides the consumer with a competitive and rigorous product. “The irreverence of Verde” is the phrase that reveals the spirit of their wine and that of the entire team by producing wines of superior quality that leave their mark on the market.

Working with the traditional method (Champagne), Quinta do Ferro concentrated its efforts on the production of exclusive sparkling wines, genuinely Portuguese and unique, which come from the Avesso grape variety, the native grape from Baião, from the Douro Verde region, one of the best grape varieties in the world to produce sparkling wine.

Avesso also has an excellent ability to produce wines of great elegance, freshness and acidity. This is the reason why Quinta do Ferro has 2 white wines, which despite being made with grapes from the same vine, gives birth to two very different wines due to different locations: the “Avesso Vinha Ribeirinha” has grapes from the border river and “Avesso Montanha”, receives the grapes from the mountain vines.
