The roots of this farm reach the great-great-grandfather of Miguel Monteiro Albuquerque, the current manager of the project, which, with the oenology of Hugo Sousa Mendes, produces there wines with unique minerality and freshness.<\/p>\n
Encruzado, Malvasia Fina, Cerceal and Bical, are the white varieties planted, while in the reds, the varieties are the traditional ones from D\u00e3o (Touriga Nacional, Jaen, Tinta Roriz) with Cabernet Sauvignon as a complement.<\/p>\n
Pai Miguel and Av\u00f4 Ant\u00f3nio wines are a tribute to those who left this legacy along with the responsibility to continue to make D\u00e3o wines always extraordinary wines. Av\u00f3 Fernanda and Rosa Maria, are wines that recognize the importance of women in the Monteiro Albuquerque family. Menino Afonso is the manifestation of the younger generations.
