For several generations they have been engaged in agriculture, especially corktrees, olive groves and vineyards, in the municipality of Avis, Alto Alentejo.<\/p>\n
The management of their lands has as goal a full commitment to the future, through respect of ecosystems, working under the motto of sustainable management, preserving biodiversity and natural habitats.<\/p>\n
In addition to the wines that are today a reference in the Alto Alentejo, the property is classified as Important Bird Area, privileged place for the practice of bird watching, and bears the certificate according to the FSC – Forest Stewardship Council and PEFC, Programe for the Endorsement of Forest Certification.<\/p>\n
In the vineyard, the option fell upon the cultivation of endemic varieties and a set of others that could originate reference wines in the Alto Alentejo: Aragonez and Syrah, but also Touriga Nacional, Alicante Bouschet, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Arinto and Ant\u00e3o Vaz.
